Manufacturing software has to work in an environment most business applications never face: shared terminals, gloved hands, dust, noise, intermittent networks and operators who cannot stop the line to navigate a complex interface.

We build shop-floor systems around those constraints — large touch targets, scanner-driven input, minimal typing, and screens that show the one thing the operator needs to do next.

Planning and execution

Production planning covering bills of material with multi-level assemblies, routing through work centres, capacity-aware scheduling, and material requirement planning that accounts for lead times and existing commitments.

Shop-floor execution with work order dispatch, operation-level confirmation, machine and labour time capture, downtime reason coding, and real-time visibility of what is running where.

Quality management including incoming inspection, in-process checks at defined stages, final inspection, non-conformance handling with disposition, and corrective action tracking.

Maintenance with preventive schedules by calendar or usage, breakdown recording, spare parts consumption and equipment history.

Traceability

For regulated and safety-critical products, traceability is not optional. We build genealogy that links finished goods to batches, lots and serial numbers of every input, along with the operators, machines and quality results involved.

The practical test is a recall: you should be able to identify every affected unit and where it shipped within minutes, not days. We build backwards from that requirement.

Costing that reflects reality

Standard costing hides problems. We capture actual material consumption including wastage and rework, actual machine and labour time, and allocate overheads on a defined basis — producing actual cost per work order and variance against standard, so the difference is visible and explainable.

Machine data

Where equipment supports it, we integrate directly — PLC and SCADA data, OPC UA where available, or simple counter and sensor inputs on older machines. This gives automatic production counts and downtime detection instead of relying on manual entry, which is where shop-floor data quality usually degrades.

Where machines cannot be connected, we design capture to be fast enough that operators actually do it.
