What you will do
- Own the technical design and delivery of client projects end to end
- Write well-structured, tested application code in Laravel
- Review code and mentor mid-level and junior engineers
- Participate in discovery sessions and translate requirements into technical plans
- Make and document architectural decisions, including the trade-offs considered
- Support deployments and investigate production issues when they arise
What we are looking for
- Four or more years building production applications with PHP and Laravel
- Strong relational database skills including query optimisation
- Practical experience with automated testing, not just familiarity
- Comfortable with Git-based workflows and code review
- Able to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with Vue or Livewire
- Exposure to AWS or containerised deployment
- Background in ERP, fintech or healthcare domains
- Open-source contributions
